The process of approving payments for the centers had a few more technical issues the last couple days.  However, it appears the issues have been fixed.  At this time it appears MANY of the center payments waiting for approval SHOULD be approved by DHS tonight, 8/28.  Approval of home provider payments SHOULD start to be approved again early next week, 8/31 or 9/1.  For home providers, the approvals next week will also include payments waiting approval  for service months of older months (May ’15, June ’15, etc.)

Providers can view the approval of their payments the day after the approval occurred at:

www.dhs.state.il.us

Go to tab:  FOR PROVIDERS

Click on:  Payments

Click on:  Provider Payment Inquiry

Enter:  SS# or FEIN

Click on:  Submit

CVR date is the approved date of the payment

*Payments are generally issued by The Office of the Comptroller 1-3 working days after the approval date.

It appears some debit card payments are still taking a little longer than usual to get to the card.  Genearlly, payments will be on the card two working days after the payment is issued.  With the new cards, it sometimes take 2 ½ to 3 working days after the issue date to reach the card account.

The DHS Payment Information Line (217-524-9041) is working again, and a new message will be added today.  Providers and clients can use that number to hear a recording of the current payment process , and other information.
