Child Care Payment Update- August 7, 2015

VR PAYMENTS (Many Show 8/4 entry)

Payments entered over the IVR phone system on 8/1, 8/2, or 8/3 have an entry date of 8/4 on HSCCMS.  This happened because of a technical issue that happened to the IVR download late on 8/3, and didn’t get fixed until early on 8/4.

Just an update on the new debit cards.  Providers should have received the new cards at the end of June. Payments issued June 29th and later will go to the new cards.  If providers didn’t receive the new card, or payments didn’t go on the new card, they should call the card company customer service line at:  1-866-338-2944.  To reach a customer service representative, callers should not enter their card number, and then press # when instructed.  Then callers should press 4 (lost, stolen, or damaged card). After entering their social security number a customer service representative should come on the line.  Normally, funds are on the debit card two working days after the payments were issued by The Office of the Comptroller.  In this initial time frame, the payments may be in the accounts late on the second day, or could take to the third working day after the payment was issued.

Center Payments: IDHS has received no authorization as of this date to issue center payments and they will not be issued until this happens.

There is still a problem with payments entered on 7/28 – 7/31.  DHS believes it has the issues fixed, and we are hopeful that MOST of those payments will be approved the night of 8/6.  At this time we don’t have exact time on when payments entered in the system 8/3 and later  for home providers will be approved.  It will probably  be similar to most months, DHS may be able to approve some payments earlier in the month, but most won’t start to be paid until after the normal mid-month funding becomes available.  The earliest any  payments entered on 8/3 or later start to get approved would be around 8/10.  For approving of payments, DHS always notes MOST because some payments can also get held up for individual technical issues or other provider specific issues.
