Payment Update: March 12, 2015

Payment Update: As of Tuesday March 10th, DHS reports that there is just over 100 million dollars of outstanding child care payments. The next Federal drawn down is due to be available early next week and once available IDHS will approve as many as possible.Remember, the monthly Federal allotment is approximately 45 million. For those providers still waiting for January payments entered in February( after Feb, 4 2015) there is a good chance your payment will be issued with this payment cycle. However, since payments are being issued in date order and ” first in/ first out”, providers whose payments were entered later in the month may have to wait until APRIL to get their January checks. Unless additional funds become available as authorized by the state legislature, NO FEBRUARY PAYMENTS WILL BE ABLE TO BE MADE UNTIL THE APRIL FEDERAL MONIES ARE AVAILABLE.
