Approval of Payments by DHS

As reported before, we are still currently only operating with Federal funding.  Without additional State funds, DHS has not been able to approve payments since around 2/20/15. At this point we believe the normal mid-March federal funding will become available around 3/16.  So, around 3/16 DHS should start to approve payments again.  When funding ran out, payments entered on 2/5 and later were not approved.   Once approval begins again, DHS should approve the payments entered on 2/5 not already approved, and Most payments entered on 2/6 and probably some payments entered on 2/9.  Later entry dates should be approved throughout the week of 3/16 – 3/20, or until the Federal allocation for the month runs out.  Without additional State funding, DHS will still not be able to approve all payments entered in February, and definitely won’t be able to approve any payments entered in March.  Without additional state funds, those payments not approved in March, would wait until mid-month funding is in place in mid- April.   Of course, most these delays would change if additional State funding is added.
