IDHS Payment Update-January 12, 2012

January 12, 2012 at 5:21 pm

Here is the latest update on payments from IDHS: Many thanks to the Child Care Bureau staff who work hard to keep us informed.

Some payments entered on 1/3 have been  approved by DHS  on 1/9 and issued by the Comptroller on  1/11.

Some more payments entered on 1/3:  approved by DHS 1/10, scheduled to be issued by Comptroller 1/12.

Most of the remaining payments entered on 1/3 that have not been approved by DHS, should be approved 1/12, and issued by Comptroller 1/17 or 1/18.

Most payments entered on 1/4, and some payments entered on 1/5 should be approved by DHS on 1/13.  These would be issued around 1/18.

Starting 1/17 and 1/18 we should start to see most payments entered on 1/5, 1/6, and 1/9 become approved by DHS and be issued  around 1/19 or 1/20.  Funding should be in place next week to start to approve all other payments waiting to be approved.

Reminders:

Payments are approved at night, and generally are noted on the on the 800-804-3833 number the next working day, or two working days after  being approved (vouchered).

Generally, payments are issued by The Office of the Comptroller two or three working days after being approved by DHS.  Payments are issued at night.  Payments are mailed the next working day after be issued, or if the provider is paid by direct deposit or debit card, the payments are in their accounts two working days after being issued.  Weekends and Holidays are NOT working days (also, Monday 1/16 is a holiday).

For providers, issued payment information is available on The Office of the Comptroller web site the working day after being issued at:  www.ioc.state.il.us.
